I am currently driving around the block because my LO won't go to sleep. He's been awake since 11:30. I've changed him twice and he's eaten around 6 oz of food. He's 3.5 weeks old. I am so exhausted I could cry. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. He's never this fussy during the day.
For any women that are still pregnant... GET AS MUCH SLEEP AS YOU CAN NOW.

6oz is alot esp at 3 weeks, my son is 3 months and eats that much now but you know your baby best. trying burping him more or leg exercises to fart it out. if it continues see his pediatrician could be colic. good luck momma!
He normally eats a lot. He has since day one. I am just totally exhausted. No swing, song, or rock was soothing him. The drive put him into a light sleep. I got home and took him out of the car seat and he is currently in another light sleep on my chest. I am afraid to move, I don't want to startle him. I just wish my "maternal instinct" would kick in so I can know what he needs. I just want sleep.
I wish I could like this a thousand times my baby is 2 weeks old and I'm a ftm she has been crying/screaming non stop all day long and I just don't know what to do I'm so frustrated I just want to cry this is everyday I only be getting 2 hours of sleep I agree get all the sleep u can get while your still pregnant😞
It sounds like he's too full momma. 6 ounces is a lot for his age. I can guarantee his little tummy is hurting. He probably acts hungry because that's the only way he know how to soothe himself when he have a tummy ache. Poor baby😞

He's here! Isaiah Christian Thomas. 5.1. 18 inches long. Went into labor at 1 am and had a successful vbac around 8am.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Is it normal for an 18 month old sleeping patterns to drastically change. He goes to bed around 1030, he used to wake up around 6 or 7 am now he sleeps until around 12.. . Is he going thru a growth spurt? Should I wake him or let him sleep thru it??
I go back to his pediatrician next week. He's the one that encouraged me to feed him more as long as he's taking it. That's the only reason I am feeding him that much.
