Most do but it doesn't have to. It can get pretty boring without games so just make it like a get together have some food and celebrate baby

mine didn't I didn't want s shower and u didn't want games I don't like being center of attention like that so we basically did presents and cake

No, you can do whatever you'd like. Esp if it's a smaller gathering, it's not necessary. Maybe with a bigger group, it just keeps things entertaining.

I'm having a larger one but no games....I told my sister's who are planning it I would rather have crafts made for the baby's room instead so small blank canvases, little picture frames, wooden figurines all to be painted and whatnot for the walls and they double as keepsakes :)

The only "games" I had were. "Guess how many candies are in the bottle" and a wipe raffle so people could win prizes. Other than that I had a craft station where people made baby blocks and mingled while filling out a predictions card!
