OK me n my man having this conversation about Circumcise our son when he's born he don't see why he needs too be circumcise n I have a question for all the mommy's who got there baby circumcise how long do they be in pain after circumcise n how long it takes too heal?

I heard you can ask him to be numbed ,I believe my docs said they gave my sons something can't remember ,you should Google pros and cons

my first was a boy and he had it done the day we were scheduled to be discharged... they took him and he was back a little over an hour later, fine and happy. They do numb, and baby is so little they don't even remember any pain. Just make sure to keep it clean and put Vaseline on the diaper and around his little thing so the skin doesn't stick to the diaper and your fine. This one is a boy and he'll be getting it done as well.

Just had my baby over a week ago! Same thing @babycasey said in terms of when he got his done and how to take care of it. My son was healed up within 4 days. And never expressed too much pain except for when changing him. The nurses will be able to answer any questions you have after they do the circumcision though! We were also allowed to give him Tylenol drops to help with the pain.

My doctor gave my LO a small dose of sugar water. It helps them calm down for the procedure. Almost like anesthesia does for us.
