😔VENTING😔 I work my ass off for everything I have . I refuse & hate depending on people because all my life people have done nothing but throw things in my face about what they've done for me so when I got my first job back in high school I started off as a temporary position & now I'm a merchandise coordinator with in two years & I been there for three years & I have earned all their benefits (like paid vaca,personal & sick days) & I just turned 20 last month ! Taking a 12 week leave with no pay is really gonna have me depending on people & I'm so stressed about it 😖😖😖😖

You can't use your vacation time? Someone told me today you could apply for short term disability or unemployment due to short term disability if it's not approved through your job... Not sure how accurate that is but it's worth looking into

I am going through a similar situation. I got put off work early because of contractions and I'm pregnant with twins. But not getting the $400 a week I was getting has hurt us bad and we are going to have to go stay with my boyfriends dad and step mom. It sucks, I hate staying with someone else

try and save as much as you can this way you won't have to ask anybody for nothing. remember to stock up in pads, diapers, advil/Tylenol, baby Tylenol, and baby gas drops. this way when the time comes you don't have to ask noone to make a run for you to the store. I'm the same way as you. bd left by choice and their no way in hell I will ever ask him for shit.

@rhonda.otero, I can't get short term disability unless I apply for their insurance unfortunately & I'm going to look into the unemployment thing as well

It's hard I agree FMLA only covers so much a mind being without your check is difficult. You will get through it and have that precious baby will be your strength 🙏🏼

I also didn't have insurance through my work as long as your are there for a year you should be able to get disability
