she'll be alright. don't worry about her girl. maybe she doesn't know how to approach you about it. I wouldn't worry about it. if she doesn't want anything to do with you and the baby then that's alright... its better that than her being fake about it.

@jossymom, don't worry about it, my child's fathers family is the same way no one reaches out to me and tries to have a relationship so they better not wait until my daughter gets here to do so and its their first grandchild.

that's how mine was and last minute, like 2 weeks before my due date she decides to text me acting like she cares and saying how excited she was. She even tried inviting herself to my induction like no lady, we already told you that you weren't going to be in the room, IDK why you think you'd be able to.

My boyfriends family hasn't contacted me either. I decided a long time ago to love and cherish the ones who are there and not waste energy on ones who aren't. Still sucks though

She was asked by my husband to help with some money ($200) for the hall for the baby shower, mind you, we never ask for help.The day im suppose to pay it she takes off to Newport for a vacation.Thanks Grama.Its cool though.
