So lately I've been looking up water births and I seem to want to try it , so I talked to my boyfriend about it , and he fusses at me saying , "Nawh like get off that stuff, just have the baby normal , stop all that extra stuff , why are you making these decisions by yourself, I want to make some decisions too, with this birth ." Like I want to include him but he actting like he's pushing out the baby . That kinda annoyed me .😖 Am I wrong for being annoyed? 😑

It's on Netflix and YouTube try and watch it & see if u can get him to watch it as well but even if he doesn't then you should it's very informative

@mamamills you need to do this birth in whatever way you will be most comfortable! I'd let him know that he can have an opinion, but tell him it's ultimately your choice because you need to feel comfortable and secure. This is one of the biggest milestones in a woman's life.

That's the equivalent of calling a Doula "extra" or a birthing ball....what does he want for it to be like the movies? Tell him he gets a say when he starts doing some research cuz water baths can be really beneficial even if only used for the first half of labor....

I would be annoyed too. Doing a water birth isn't "extra stuff" it's actually a lot less hectic than having to haul ass to a hospital.
