Does anyone else have GD? I don't get to meet with a nutritionist until Monday and I'm starving all the time. I've found online how many carbs I can eat a day but I find it hard to get full off of the portions. I've been very upset the last few days since I get frustrated that I'm starving and there isn't anything I can eat. If anyone has some sort of advice I would greatly appreciate it

Try homemade burgers bc when u go out to eat they add so much other stuff to the burgers (worked in a resturant) my brother is a diabetic so i mean he has insulin to take if it gets out of control but GD i dont think u have anything to take. But homemade burgers would be fine bc u know what goes on and in them. I mean multi grain bread has 18 carbs in it. U dont fully cut carbs but you surely watch you intake and then (if able) exercise dont over due it but a good question is to ask how much to do per carb. Example 48 carbs = 1/2 mile or something i have no idea but drs would know. Dont eat alot of sweets either. And water is your best friend. But veggies fruit and meats n peanut butter and yogats are all good. I got to mcds and take the bun off the hamburgers as it is (boy do i get looks when i ask for no bread hahah) if you like squash try spaghetti squash and make spaghetti that ways instead of the noodles its really good :-)

GD is like diabetes meats are free points protein makes u fuller try yogat too but meats are free so if u dnt mind chicken beef and pork or turkey its good to eat them
