c section mama's: did you have any complications?
how painful was the recovery process?
any problems BF'ing after?
just finished my ultrasound and he is still sideways. I think I've decided to go with the c section instead of the ECV. It feels like the right thing to do. just wondering what to expect.
thanks!
Oh wow @kitty10 that's scary. I heard scheduled c sections are done at 39 weeks but I'm pretty sure my midwife said 38 weeks. it's dangerous if I go into labour on my own due to cord prolapse
I went into labour when I was 39 weeks and 2 days. needed a csection because he was stuck and was in distress. he already had breathing issues thanks to meconium asperation
when did you guys get your cycle section done? I was told it would be about 38 weeks. it's dangerous if I go into labour on my own. I heard anything before 39 weeks poses risks of breathing problems with the baby @kitty10
I'm 3 weeks today and it's still sore but I think it's just the muscle. but I'm able to do more which is good since I have a toddler. no complications for me from the csection. I find it gets more sore if I'm sitting in a car for too long
I think your better off knowing about it beforehand and having it scheduled instead of an emergcy c section!! You will be ok! And I just had a lot of pain where the incision was! And don't do stairs a lot if you can help it!! Good luck
Awesome. hope all goes good with your c section an recovery
thanks @melissafrattinger my husband will take a week off and I'll get help from my parents too, they don't live far
I'm just shy of a week in my recovery. the first couple days your quite sore an will need a lot of help getting up an around. I've finally now been able to get out of a chair on my own but still need help getting in an out of bed. but they say after 2 weeks your pretty much good on your own again. just take it easy an don't do to much to fast. my husband has been amazing through all this taking care of me an our little girl. just ask for help.
TWW!!
2dpo and on the tww journey. Anyone on the same dpo or close? Haven't decided if I will test at 12dpo or just wait and see if she shows up!!
Short Luteal Phase?
I've just started temping because I believe that the reason I haven't had a BFP yet, after 20 months, is because I believe I may have a Luteal Phase Defect.

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
I'm sure it will all go smoothly.
