Just got told by a random lady at the store that she'd pray for my child's soul because my son was telling me something about he was learning about evolution in school and how cool it was that he had monkey grandparents.
First, mind your own fucking business. My son was talking to me, not you. And yes, I did raise my child to be an atheist because I want him to look at facts instead of fairy tales. Thanks.

Science has always been my fascination too to me it's just logical and makes more sense lol idk, I don't see why people are so concerned with how other people raise their children when it comes to religion and stuff like that
@2novbabies, and there's nothing wrong with that. My mom raised me the same way. My son knows the difference between religion and science and is more fascinated by science. The reason I called religion "fairy tales" is because that's how my son looks at them. He enjoys the stories but like any freethinking child, doesn't take them seriously.
I'm raising my children technically as an atheist, I'm not pushing religion or anything on them, I went to church and stuff as a kid (my choice just went for friends) but it's not my thing. So I'll let my kid decide what they want to think and believe

@monilovesautumn, she didn't complain another mom did. We just want to stop all this drama absolutely negativity today. Regardless of who complained, let's be kind and not try to push our own beliefs on others. And be respectful of others. This was general and not aimed at a particular mom.
I didn't say anything negative to her @preggie_usa I told her exactly what you told her and she snapped at me and I told her if she doesn't want to listen to others opinions that's fine but don't bash anyone else's . I understand she was upset about her situation , but just because she didn't get the responses she thought she was going to get made her upset therefore lashing out on everyone . no one here said anything wrong we were just stating our opinions about what she post . these woman need to stop being so quick to call on you. there is no serious issue

If you don't share the same, then scroll past. You've all made your point. Just move on. Next time, if you see a post with different religious beliefs, do not disrespect that mom. If you must share, create a group chat with like minded moms. Don't put down others if they don't have exactly the same beliefs. The USA is about religious freedom and secularism. Thank you.

I don't have a problem with anyone having a religion and I can call them fairy tales if I want. It's what I believe. I'll let you have your beliefs and I won't fight you as long as I can have mine. I've never believed in a god because it doesn't make much sense to me. But thank you to everyone for coming onto my shit and arguing with each other.

On second thought something cameto mind that if you want to post things about religion on social media expect to have comments about it because I stand strong for my beliefs but still believe in respecting others. @2novbabies, I don't mind if someone prays for me or whatever but I'll go off if someone tries to shut down my son because he's more into science than religion. It bugged me that she said that in front of my son. That was my problem.
