I wouldn't even consider it just for the fact it can cause the baby to have a bowel movement. sure many people do it and it works and baby comes out just fine but it's not something I would risk but that's just my personal opinion

I hate when doctors say that lol. It literally could be tomorrow or 2 more weeks and they have NO idea when a woman's body will go into labor.

I took it with my first and it worked. I was already due and dilated to 3cm. It cleaned out real good though. My daughter was born the next day with no complications. BUT my dr only said to take 1 teaspoon. It was the most disgusting thing I've ever taken and I never took it again! It's not something I recommend to induce labor it's gross and made me feel icky.

if that doesnt work just have sex instead. if you're close enough to your due date there is something in the sperm that will induce labor. sounds crazy I know bit I learned this with my now 5 year old son. my husband and I had sex three days before I was due and about an hour after I was laying in bed and my water began to leak. went to the er and sure enough, the nurse told me about the sperm.
