I've never had a c section but I don't believe mommy holds baby even if full term for c section but like mentioned above once u recover it will most likely depend on babies situation! I had natural birth at 36 weeks and I held her she was ok so my prayers are with you and your little one in hopes all goes well and you and baby are completely healthy! Good luck momma!
If you get a c - section you won't hold your baby. They strap your hands and arms down. They will show you the baby and let you kiss him. Then you will recover for like 1 hour then they will take you to your room and if baby is completely healthy you can ask them to bring the baby into your room.
I had a c section and got to hold my little one within 2 minutes of her being born...they set her on my chest for skin to skin for I want to say 10 minutes or so. then took her with dad to clean her up and stuff and as soon as they took me to recovery I was able to breast feed. I was 38 and a half weeks so at 35 weeks it would depend on the condition of your baby but if the baby is healthy wouldn't see why not and I guess depends on the hospital...I would talk to your dr about it before and request skin to skin right away.

I've never had one but I'm guessing it would be on the child's condition..
