Any last minute advice (other than sleep when baby sleeps, I've got that one! Lol) for this first time mom? Having a scheduled c section in the morning! Can't wait!❤😍
Yes best advice is to walk!! As soon as they allow you to get up you should. The longer you lay down and let your incision stiffen the worse your recovery will be. I had a c-section and was up walking the next day. My recovery was fabulous!! My doctor was the one who told me to get up and walk. She had had a c-section with her twin girls so she knew what she was talking about from experiencing it.
take it as easy as u can and accept all the help you can get for now. Don't rush urself into recovery. I've had 2 csections. Good luck mama and congratulations!
I just had my emergency c - section 2 weeks ago my best advice is to walk. After the first 12 hours they will encourage you to get up and walk or use the bathroom or shower on your own. Trust me I think will hurt like he'll when you try to stand for the first time but walking will help a lot. The more you walk the better you will feel. I'm already walking and doing everything on my own since day 3 of my operation. Another thing is don't put up with the pain to be strong. If you hurt ask for pain meds don't try to suck it up. Understand that you just had a major surgery but at the same time if you don't try to push yourself to get up and do stuff you will just stay sore even longer. Also relax and trust me the first time you see your baby all your pain will disappear. Good luck momma! If you have any other questions please message me.
Thank you everyone!! I'm beyond excited to meet my baby boy!! @tayek @kcamps @ngujen @nikolai_mommy15 @_supermommie2173 @bella91 @hward12
