So, update.. actually just getting home from the hospital now. went in for high blood pressure but we were able to get it under control. Midwife said he's still in the wrong position. He is kind of breach/transverse. pelvis is totally empty..he's still sitting high up near my ribs. My ultrasound is in 2 days to figure out possible reasons why he's not moving positions. once we review the ultrasound and determine he's in the same position, I have two options. option one is to go in and have a specialist manually try to move him down and then I would be induced right away. this is done around 38 weeks. option 2 is c section also at 38 weeks. Not going to lie that's scary considering its a couple weeks away! does anyone have experience with this scenario? technically it's my decision if I just want to skip manually moving him and just go right to the c section. Both options have their risks and they may find that they can't manually move him if he doesn't want to. I don't know what to do :-/ I've heard induced labours are hard..plus when they move him manually they give me an epidural first.. so I know I'll be monitored for blood pressure and fever etc. pitocin has its risks too. but so does a c section. my head is swimming right now :(
