This WAS my first child. However, I went through preterm labor so I guess my body is trying to adjust. I have ibuprofen 800 but that don't work so I was just prescribed narco. @shaunatb

it's very normal to have contraction like pains after birth. It will happen at anytime but mostly when breast feeding. like pp stated it's your uterus doing the contraction and it helps with it going back down to size.
over the counter meds does the trick BTW 800mg advil every 6 hours

yes it is. Its your uterus going back to normal size I believe.
