That happened to me too, FMLA. I took a month off before I had her and a month off after. So I went like 21/2 months with out pay but that's what my husband is for. I had a lil time but not much. Money comes and goes but time with my baby was soooo worth it!

@arianaandjordynn, yes I completely agree . My hubby went & got a second job just for extra money while I'm on my leave & it isn't too much on him because he works for his friends business so of course they do nothing but goof around all day & get paid but this is our first child & I know money is important but nothing is more important to me than my child's safety & happiness . My job is not my career therefore there is nothing holding me back from walking out of there if they can't understand my child comes first
