I was rear ended tonight... 😔. Feeling fine no cramping or bleeding or anything like that...the hit wasn't very hard but my husband is worried and it's making me feel stressed too. Do I go to the er? Wait and call my obgyn in the morning? Not worry about it? I really do feel like everything is okay...but I want to do the right thing. Help please!

Someone rear ended me not too long ago and my husband took me to the ER always good to ease your mind. Even if it wasn't a big accident

I got rear ended a few weeks ago really hard. I was fine and I feel baby moving but I went to the er(by ambulance) just to double check. Better safe than sorry.

Hopefully they don't charge you to go to the ER but what they will most likely do is give the baby a stress test monitor the heart rate. If you call your dr they will tell you to go to the ER too. I had the same thing happen to me but I never went because my insurance charges me $600 for ER visits smh 😑 I just monitored he heart beat with the Doppler at home😁

did the person who rear ended you have insurance? if so, their insurance should cover the er visit. I'd go in, better to be safe than sorry

go to er as a safety precaution. don't stress, just do it. my mom was in an accident when she was 20 weeks with my sister and they required er visit. think if it as an extra chance to see LO :)

Er im in a lawsuit BC of that it happened when I was 17 weeks and I hit my stomach on the steering wheel and then I found out at physical therapy I have underlying issues my back is also messed up so be prepared for a lawyer just in case anything has happened. You may be 20 weeks now but issues occur later on. It takes time for them to show up.

Same thing happened to me. I went to the ER few hours later. Everything was ok. They monitored baby for a few hours through the fetal heart monitor and did an u/s. Also when i called the OB she said any type of trauma that i should call them and visit an ER

Thanks for all the advice ladies!!! I called the emergency line for my OB and he said at this point in the pregnancy the ER wouldn't be able to do anything for me if something is wrong, but they are going to bring me in first thing in the morning so I can hear the heartbeat and get some reassurance. I feel less stressed just having talked to the doctor and hearing from all of you to know I am not the only one this has happened too. What a stressful night!

You should always go in no matter how small the fall or accident. Even if you just fall and sprain your ankle, you should go in anyways.
