I've never had a c section but I'm pretty sure they make you take them out. I know they do when you have a vaginal delivery in case you have to end up have a c section.

All jewelry must be removed whether having a c-section or vaginal birth. That's what both hospitals I delivered out told me. Vaginally just in case you end up having an emergency c-section

mine are my ear so maybe that's why. but I also technically had a emergency c section but it didn't happen like super scarey fast so I'm sure they would have asked if they really needed them out

@steph11, right, I suppose, my first was an emergency c-section but I can't remember crap from 9 years ago, I know I had my piercings, just don't remember if I had to take them out, my pre-op is tomorrow so I will have to ask
