@brudd330, Texas in Dallas offers free car seats for either going to classes or if you qualify going to a class for low income families. I know there is a free clinic near me that you get fake dollars for going to classes, that you can buy a car seat with or diapers or clothes

@brudd330, Google "free car seats low income" and put in your state... there may be programs to help

@chavalava, ahh gotcha. yeah different laws in different states. I think some states have programs that offer free car seats to mothers in need, too.

@brudd330, children's place has affordable clothes sign up for emails to get better deals... Sometimes there is free shipping also Walmart has stuff for good prices.

My husband picked up one while I was in the hospital by us they didn't walk us to the car... This was in ny in Texas I believe it's a bit different... We actually had borrowed a car seat to take him out of the hospital then transferred him one we got out of the hospital 😕

@chavalava, how did you take him home without a car seat? Here, my hospital won't discharge you until they see the car seat and inspect it to make sure it's properly installed in your car

dont stress just try buying everything every week and you should have most things you need before u know it

We had him on a play mat for a bit or I just slept with him (I'm a very light sleeper) apply to Similac and enfamil for free samples... Clothes you can order online if you can't get out
