Oh and I will say that the ones that stood up were way messier cause of they looked away they would spray everywhere so just be aware of that also

I used to work at a daycare and most of the 3 year olds just weren't talk enough to stand so we told them to sit and to hold "their friend down" lol but the ones that were tall enough usually would stand cause they wanted to be like their daddy's so basically if your having issues potty training whatever works for your child

My husband wants to teach him sitting down.

no problem ! my issue right now is my toddler is 3 and stopped and won't train for anything fingers crossed I can get him going again lol

I taught my son standing up.

depends I taught my 8 year old to sit until he was tall enough to stand . . . trying to do the same with my toddler but I'm thinking he is going to like standing better just see what's more comfortable for him
