Sleep update: must have been the cranial session that made my boy sleep 5 hours. As last night he woke up every 2/3 hours for a feed but only fed for 5 minutes. He seemed contented but I did miss that long old sleep! Still colicky... Tried anti colic massage after a bath last night and he enjoyed it. But then went nuclear when I was trying to feed him. Le sigh! 😴 #myboyhatestherightboob
@tuftyturtle, I've never heard of a dream feed! I'll try that though! :) thank you! Xx
2/3 hours isn't bad for his age. I know it feels exhausting thou. have you tried a dream feed? I didn't know if it would work as well with breast fed babies but two friends tried and said it worked. For example. Taylor would go to bed about 9 and normally wake about 12. so I would feed him whilst he was still asleep/really sleepy at 10:30/11 before I went to bed and then he would sleep until about 3 instead of waking every 3 hours. I found he would then only wake once (at 3) and then at about 6 but that's normal getting up time for me anyway
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Trigger. Our precious boy
Last night, December 8th, 2015, at 9:58pm, our sweet precious baby boy was born sleeping. We spent 5 wonderful hours with him: holding him, talking to him, singing to him, mourning him, praying for him, and weeping over him.
Waking to feed?
My dd is a week old and I was told by her doctor to wake her every 2 hours during the day and 3-4 hours at night to feed her. For the first 3 days I did that and when I would wake her fit a night feeding she was fussy and usually wouldn't go back to sleep and would want to nurse constantly until about 9 am. I tried not waking her last night and she slept beautifully! She woke up around 6 hours in and ate then slept another hour or so and ate again. Is it ok to let her sleep?
My baby is 2 today!! I literally cried myself to sleep last night snuggling with him. (yeah, I let him sleep in my bed last night bc I he wanted to & I wanted him to) lol
Why are birthdays so hard for meeee?! 😭😭😭
So my bf went out for 2 pints at 6pm last night n has crawled in a hour ago 👍Friday night is my only so called nigjt off from no night feeds selfish pig 😡
You're welcome. Sometimes it can take a few tries to work but the basic concept is...If they're waking because they're hungry, feeding them before they wake will stop them from waking. so then you get at least one longer stretch during the night. x
