Is anyone else giving their baby your maiden name as their middle name. I always knew that's how I wanted to do it, that's how I was named. I thought it was way more common but now that I have been talking to more pregnant women I haven't heard of anyone else doing this. What happened to that tradition?

I think it's a cool tradition. I didn't do it, my husband had a boy named he really liked and there wasn't any compromise there. I also know that my maiden name wouldn't work as a middle name at least not to me. I think if you have a maiden name that works...why not, ya know.

I am nailing my baby Sophia Elizabeth then her dad's last name9 with Elizabeth then mine since we arnt married but if we were I'd put my last name in the middle with Elizabeth and his as the last name

I want to name my baby after my middle name. My dad loved my middle name and wanted it to be my first name but mom said no lol. my dad passed 15-16 years ago and it's so hard to convince my boyfriend to use my middle name lol
