So I just noticed a little bit of colostrum from my breast when I squeezed them lol kinda excited & scared . I heard it hurts once your breast fills up with milk or at least when they get full right ?
They make a lot in the beginning, more than tiny baby can eat. Eventually it figures out how much baby needs and only makes that much. Our bodies are amazing!! In the mean time, the first few weeks your body makes tons and tons and then they get heavy and hard and that's uncomfortable. It definitely didn't hurt me though, personally. Just like a gentle ache to let me know they were ready to feed LO :)
yes. as long as you're breastfeeding they're always producing. your baby's saliva tells your body what and how much to make. it can even tell your body to change your milk! regulation occurs assertions 6 weeks after birth. the only way you're boobs will hurt while engorged it's if they get hit.
Hurt is the wrong word. It can get uncomfortable. And you have like fake porn star hard boobs on your chest. But it's only if you skip a feeding that it becomes really rough and yoi can always pump a little to take the edge off. And that stage only lasts for a few weeks. Once you regulate, they go back to normalish.
