Having cats with a newborn baby: will they suffocate the baby?

I have 2 and 2 dogs :) just use common sense and safety :)

We have three cats and they don't bother baby at all. They have been caught trying to sleep in her car seat or pack n play, but never while she was in it. I always keep a close eye though, I was told that cats can suffocate them because they smell the milk.

My sister has two cats and she just makes sure they aren't in the kids room at night!

I have a huge cat but I'm not worried just keep an extra close eye, make sure she's never alone with baby

Myth. I had a cat when my daughter was born. A great big one. They do not suffocate babies. Mine was my baby's first friend. 💖 As for leaving them alone...well, I trusted that cat more than some humans lol
