my baby has stopped taking milk from the bottle while I'm away at work/school and will only take it directly from the breast when I come home. that's 8-9 hrs without eating! I hope she still gains weight by her next appt 😔

Have you tried different bottles or switching the nipples out for different ones? You really don't want the baby to go hungry and try to investigate if your milk is being prepared properly. It should be warmed in warm water if it was frozen, never microwaved or exposed to extreme heat.
