it's easier said then done I know. There have been concerns with both my boys at 20 week scans and I have a feeling of dread about my 20 week scan this time too. I'm hoping this time it's plain sailing. I feel at the moment I can't be happy to be pregnant until I've got through this scan as I've convinced myself something is going to happen again. I'll keep my fingers and toes crossed that everything goes well for you tomorrow. xx

That's why I don't want one because I don't want to see what she looks like. They're always so accurate. but trying to imagine my babies face is what got me through labour last time lol. Thanks. I am mostly positive. just starting to get nervous now it's tomorrow! xx

I was referred to John Radcliffe, oxford for a specialist scan at fetal health for a heart defect and they only did that in 2d. I've had a 4d in my first pregnancy though and they are amazing ☺ x

@xxtxx, I'm not going to my local hospital because they don't have a fetal medicine department. I've been referred to somewhere more specialist. I don't know how a scan can be more detailed unless it's 3d/4d. I've never wanted one done but I know I will want to look lol. It's not even important I'm just distracting myself with wondering about this so I don't think about the real issues 😳

I think it depends on where you are going and the purpose of the scan. My hospital do not use 4d but if they need it will send you else where x
