my first pregnancy I tossed my test at my mom and said "catch" and then started crying and she gave me a candy bar.... The second time I found out on Mother's Day. I came home from a trip with my boyfriend, took the test, and when I was done freaking out I went up to her with it behind my back and told her happy Mother's Day guess what? And she couldn't guess so I showed it to her. I just texted my sister and told her, and I announced with a video of our ultrasound on Facebook for the rest of my family.

i drove straight to my mothers house after i went to clinic to get checked and i handed her the test and said here ya go and sat down on couch to cry ( happy tears). my dad has dementia but i still went to tell him and all that day he kept repeating hes gonna have another grandbaby to me lol.
I told my mom I may be and she laughed at me. And then once I received confirmation I called her crying. - I told my brothers some time after. And then I told my dad, unfortunately after I left the hospital for a scare. But I'd been trying to tell him for weeks before that. (I apologized afterwards)
I facetimed my mom and dad the minute I got a positive. They were shocked but super happy. Told my husband later that day & it took him a good 2 hours to actually process it lol.
We sent all of our family this picture in the mail with a letter saying we are expecting. We told my mom when she came to visit by putting our son in his big brother t-shirt 😊
