my family is red neck too and it doesn't effect my parenting. I was 18 when I got pregnant and I'm 19 now and have a 6 week old precious little boy and hes very well taken care of. Im sure youre a damn good momma even if you are young. Being young doesn't mean you cant be a good mom and take good care of your child. yeah sure it puts you at a bit of a disadvantage but you love your child the same as someone who has children older. I hate how the first way someone tries to offend you is you insult your parenting. It's childish. It bothers me when people do it to me too. Honestly the people who judge peoples parenting are usually the people who are horrible parents.
