You'll be ok! It's not absolutely horrible. Yes, it hurts but if it's too much to handle that's why there's the epidural and other pain management options. You'll do great!

I was super nervous too and when it was all over with it didn't seem that bad, I would for sure get the epidural though

The give you something that makes you really loopy and sleepy but it didn't really help the pain, just focus on your breathing and you'll be fine, that's what I did and nurses were so surprised it was my first because of how comfortable I was and I didn't even get the epidural until I was 8 cm
