Had my 39 week appointment today... I'm only dilated 1/2 cm and not thinned at all! I'm not open…

Had my 39 week appointment today...

I'm only dilated 1/2 cm and not thinned at all! I'm not open enough for her to do a membrane sweep and she can't induce me yet either because my body is not progressed enough and it is more likely for me to need a c section..

But she said I may not be dilating because I'm too narrow for baby to engage which will mean a c section anyways..

Well, I go back to the doctor next Tuesday and she said if I progress and he's engaged then she'll induce me then, but if not she will schedule me for a c section next Wednesday (my due date)...
