Wow I just posted about this. Me and my boyfriend finally settled on Tristan. His grandma is Spanish and I guess triste means sad in Spanish. Ok. Stop. I'm not Spanish. I'm done telling people my baby name. They can know after he's born. Then have the nerve to tell me you don't like it. Ok I'm done ranting.

@hale, I LOVE that name :) & omg I went through the same thing, my daughter's name is Mia and in Spanish it means MINE & ppl don't like that apparently 😓😤 But I don't care I'm not Spanish lol.

@sugarduck, it's Mia Eliana. But apparently because I'm Asian, that sounds "too Mexican" for some of my boyfriends friends 😠😞

That's such a pretty name and I don't think it sounds "too mexican" at all! what a world we live in that we say that, tsk tsk. there's always going to be someone who says something so just hold your baby, who's obviously going to be gorgeous with a gorgeous name :)

That's how I feel too! My son will have a Turkish last name so his first name is going to be simple but perfect 😍
