@gabrielle_d yah only helped so much. I'd ask your doc about what @levleah said an blood patch. my doc had me wait it out and mine went away but took awhile. hope you get some comfort soon.♡

@overthemoon, I try drinking sodas but it doesn't help. I'm doing that now and it hasn't helped yet lol

a blood patch will work instantly and will be all you should need. Once I received mine, the headaches resolved.

@levleah that happened to me but i never had a patch done. took abt 3 months and went away. @gabrielle_d my docs said to drink Coke helps them go away. doc knew what she did to me.

@levleah, okay thank you. Even taking the pain meds they gave me doesn't stop the headaches. I might call them and see what they say

If the headaches are severe and don't ease up, I would talk to your dr about an epidural blood patch. After you receive an epidural you have the potential for spinal fluid to leak, a blood patch is used to fill the hole in the dura (covering of spinal cord) and relief is almost immediate. Sounds scary but it's a very simple procedure (I've had 2 from previous spinal taps), and it really works if the headaches are severe.

@ftm-jess, I had my daughter Friday so hopefully it'll be gone by next week. No I don't but I do sleep with my back arched. I'm usually on my sides when I sleep so maybe that's why too. I know when I was pregnant I would be in pain if I stayed in one spot for too long

I think mine lasted about a week and I still have back pain on occasion. do you breastfeed? my back was hurting mostly because I was crouching over during feeds , I looked up breastfeeding positions and it made a huge difference.

@reaganmommy2015, @ftm-jess thank you! I was worried about both since they didn't really say anything about that happening. My back only hurts at night and these migraines are killer! Lol

I had them too , they'll go away eventually!

The headaches are called epidural headaches kind of like a migraine plus the back pain is due to epidural as well.
