the farther I get the less I feel her moving around I feel pressure occasionally I'm thinking that's her but I've had a hard time feeling her my entire pregnancy because they said my placenta is abnormally thick and lays across my stomach. is it normal for the movements to decrease before labor

Nope its totally normal. I thought the same thing when I got really close to having my daughter. But if you ever feel extremely worried and want to ease your mind call l&d they can usually tell you just about anything . Your welcome @mrs.knapp15

they change, not so much as kicking cause of lack of room. i have more of a pressure rolling feeling, unless he has the hiccups then its jerky
I had tons of kicking a few days ago now its more like a pressure for a few seconds or longer and than it stops I was worried she wasn't OK @peachs75
