what causes heartburn ive searched lot it says acid reflexes, nd bcz the baby's growing hair I'm soo confused I hate having them as I can't sleep through the night I wake up several hours the night to drink cold milk it cures it for the time being but still have to wake up to drink it again :( also is tums effective? thanks 25 weeks +2 days
I get heartburn all the time.
get gaviscon off doctor.
I keep this by my bed.
works for the burn. x
I'll definitely try that thanks :) yhh that's what I think too about the hair lol
Go to the doctors and they'll prescribe you something called omeprazole. It's amazing! You take a tablet every day & you'll have no heartburn at all! They are 100% safe to take as well. It's a myth about the hair. My first was born literally bald. I got awful heartburn with him! @ua21 xx
gaviscon and milk have been my best friends throughout this pregnancy lol xx
@ua21, i found that sparkling water was the only thing that helped my heartburn xx
I had terrible heartburn and my son had loads of hair. but it is just an old wives tale . you get it because all your organs are squished up together and it's easier for your stomach acid to leak up into your oesophagus
yhh @t446 I think it's a myth to be honest I heard it from my auntie nd then searched it but not accurate its bcz of that
I heard gaviscon too wasn't sure to try it but ill have to consult the midwife first thank you :) x
I heard the same thing that baby will have lots of hair I've not had any of that yet n I'm 28 weeks think my lill one won't have much hair lol xx
I lived on gaviscon last time I was pregnant. It's awful isn't it. Try drinking ginger tea approximately 30 minutes before you eat that should help ease it a lot .
need suggestions....
So at work we have a drink thief. Any time we put a drink in the fridge it disappears. I swear I know who it is. So far he's taken drinks from everyone that works in the office, we even put a sign to not take anything you didn't pay for and wrote our names on the drinks. The person I think is taking them works out of the office so we never get to see who is drinking them.
The only reason I have not killed myself is bc of my daughter and not wanting to go to hell I pray that I won't wake up the next morning
Anyone else’s toddler start waking up in the middle of the night again after their first birthday??
a new fun problem I'm having, at night when I'm in bed since I can't roll over, I wake up whenever I have to switch sides because whatever side I'm laying on gets so incredibly sore. But aside from that, I notice I wake up all night every night to one or both of my hands being numb and tingly, whether or not I'm laying on that arm or not. Anyone else have this problem? So in turn the joints in my fingers feel super sore and swollen, it's annoying! 😠
To all the mommys out there! When did your baby stop waking up for night feedings and did you have to sleep train them to do so or did they just eventually stop waking up to eat! My son eats more at night than during the day and this mommy is TIRED!
I suffered with this and tried tums and Gaviscon... neither did anything for me, I found rennie the most effective, and the mint flavour made it almost immediate relief for me :) x
