I'm so confused. went to 1st ultrasound today. Good news is there is a baby, bpm @ 130. but she had questioned my last period start date (which was right) and at first she was wanding over the belly and inferred she wasn't seeing anything. I say inferred because she was showing me nothing on the screen even after she did a transvaginal and located the baby and the heartbeat. she gave us no info at all and she said we couldn't have a printout of the baby on the screen bc they're not allowed. I left thankful, with a due date 5 days later than all the apps say. I am so upset and confused.

Wow I never heard of a place saying a print out is not allowed . That is so strange I got one at my first appt and I was 7 weeks 3 days even though it was a little peanut but still. Also they couldn't see nothing abdominally really , they did transvaginal for a better picture

well I was referred to that ultrasound place through my insurance.

ultrasound techs can only do so much , if a doctor was there then i dont see why she couldn't do print outs

I have always been referred out and a tech did mines but she gave me pictures I didn't even have to ask . But every place is different I guess. But you heard the heartbeat at least
