Got a little scare yesterday and I've now been put on bed rest. I'd awaken to blood in my clothes and was rushed to the E.D. The diagnosis was threatened miscarriage. I'm now having my Hcg levels watched throughout next week. I must admit I'm a little worried but gotta stay positive.

Lol. I do the same. I let them talk etc etc and when I start asking questions then they realize. But you take it one day at a time and have them check those levels I told you about. That's very important. Good luck. Keep us informed.
Most times she never lets them know until the end but their faces show that they knew they did wrong. @nurseriri
As well you should. She's your advocate. And when they realize that she is im sure you're treated differently. @iijaychante
Awesome. @nurseriri , my mom works mother baby here in NC. She's worried. Health care professionals aren't as caring as they used to be so I always take my mom to every doctor's visit

Yes I am a nurse and I work at a major hospitals in nyc in the ICU dept.

@iijaychante, have them check your progesterone levels also. If it's low then you can possibly miscarry and they usually gave you progesterone to maintain pregnancy for first trimester.
awe @iijaychante praying for you and baby. but if you start feeling contractions make sure your in a hot shower and next to the toilet. tons of blood will be coming out and then sure enough the baby. just be safe please !!!
Thank you. I'm at 4 weeks and 3 days now. I'm worried about the outcome but I'm taking my vitamins and trying not to stress. I'm doing the bed rest thing...it's just hard. Plus I have 5 & 8 year old sons who are amped and hoping for a baby sister. 😢
I had that happen at 7 weeks so please take them serious about the bed rest I ended up quitting my job it's not worth it :( stay strong and positive
tats what happened to me. I started bleeding at 4 weeks a d so I was on bed rest and then one day I went to church and I was having bad contractions like terrible and so I go to the restroom and I was still bleeding so I went home to rest and then woke up to myself pushing. my husband was there taking care of me and then all of a sudden I had the miscarriage at 7 weeks. it was very sad :( just be careful once you start seeing blood clots go to the hospital
