this is gonna be kinda long but im going crazy right now. my mom has turned into an alcoholic and right now i ha e no choice but to live with her because i have no income. but my mom is now telling me i cannot talk to my baby daddy because she dont like him and today i talked to him about going to the meet and greet with our daughters pediatrician and my mom flipped out trying to tell me he shouldnt be allowed to go and started talking about him out of his name and got mad at me and threw everything she has done for me in my face when i told her not to talk shit about him my child is still his and im not keeping him from her. mind you i am 23 years old and just things went sour thats why i came home for help. i cant wait to get off bed rest and get back to work so i can get my own house again. i just dont know how to deal with it in the mean time i am terrified she will put her hands on me one of these nights with me being pregnant but i have no where eose to go until i have my baby. idk wat to do. i truely hate alcohol and what it does to people.

I am so sorry you shouldn't have to deal with that /; there's no where else you can stay if you feel threatened?

I pray she doesn't put her hands on you either. I went through something like that with my sister and she fought me when I was 5 months pregnant. I thank God my baby came out healthy because that was so scary.

@jabarismommy, @morgans_mommie thank you but no there is no where else right now. my baby daddy is going threw a situation of his own why we are seperated right now and none of my other family really has the room. i just wish she would listen to me and realize she has a problem.

I would keep hidden in my room or corner wherever you are not saying a word to her unless necessary until your baby comes. Only another month and a half for you?

Yep I'd do the same. Id get me a mini refrigerator or some snacks and get some good shows and just stay in the room all day until I was going out somewhere or the bathroom .

My mom is an alcoholic as well but not violent. My best advice is to not argue with her when she is drunk. Her mind isnt in the right place if she is drunk. Even trying to rationalize wont work. Any serious discussion need to be when she is sober

In her head she probably isnt disrespectful. She may not even remember. Drunk people are like toddlers. They dont think like rational adults
