hey! I'm new to this site and I need some advice. I had the implanon in for 3 months. I had it removed 7 days ago. my boyfriend and I had sex on the day I had it removed and a few days before it was removed. Within those few days I was taking an herb called St. johns wort which I found out that it interacts with the implanon so a back up birth control is needed. What Planned Parenthood said. I started spotting a couple days ago both times its redish brown. I'm having symptoms that feel more like pregnancy than pms. I would like to hear from women who have been on/dealt with side effects or anything related to the implanon :). Thank you. looking forward to some responses!
