Dr apt at 10:50 , I think they're going to check my cervix for the first time, & my boyfriend won't be there cause he has work 😩 first appointment he will miss , & it's going to be the appointment that kills me !!! lol does it hurt really bad getting your cervix checked ??
Had my cervix checked (at hospital) on Sunday 1cm dilated.... go today my doc says I’m not dilated at all . Ummmmmmmmm 🤷🏾 ♀
Had a male doctor check my cervix today for the first time and it was the absolutely worse ever. He couldn't reach my cervix and just nudged his fat knuckles into my pubic bone😫😫😫
Does it hurt the first time they check your cervix?
38 weeks today I had an appointment and it's the first time they checked my cervix. Dr said it's still high and completely closed. Is this necessarily bad? It also hurt when he checked is that normal?
Trigger. Lost baby Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?

No. It's uncomfortable pressure. But it doesn't hurt at all. Ask one of the nurses to hold your hand if no one is with you. It's comforting.

it doesn't hurt at all! it's really uncomfortable when they have to dig deep though. 😭

I had mine checked yesterday...nothing out of the ordinary. They just stick their finger up you. So, maybe a little surprising at first, but it doesn't hurt.
