any mommies on Here newborn get a hernia??? doctor said she has a umbilical hernia which is normal some babies get it....is there anything I can do to help it maybe even go away???
okay now I understand thank u hun cause I was so lost and confused thank u😀😀😀😀 @mrsmoore
oh no not at all it just makes it look bigger because she's pushing her stomach muscles which push it out a lil n make it hard like for example you do crunches your stomach gets hard it won't get any bigger and it won't stay hard after she cries when she cries you'll feel it n when she stops it gets soft again as she gets older her stomach muscles get tigher and will close and it should eventually all go in and away so you can see a regular belly button, stomach muscle are split until you tighten them naturally by just growing as a baby sense you had a baby your stomach muscles are split if you tighten your stomach you can feel the separation in the middle of your stomach that sort of what she has except hers involves her intestines because she's a baby
could crying make it worst I'm trying my very best not to let her cry I don't want it getting worst...and thank u for u advice on tummy time I freak out when my husband does it I swear I think it's hurting her so I don't do it but now I know it won't @mrsmoore
thank u so much I haven't touched it other then wiping it down when I wipe her down it just looks real painful but I'm glad she not in pain...she's 2weeks old @mrsmoore
awe,no it doesn't hurt them at all you can do tummy time and everything I have three kids and this is the first time one of them had one when she cries or poops or uses and stomach muscles it will look like its getting bigger but when they relax it goes down I can deff tell its my sons intestines because when he's gassy or I can hear stomach noises if you are holding your baby in away that your be touching it you can feel the gas bubbles go by but it doesn't hurt them even if you do touch it or gently press but I recommend leaving it be sometimes I gently rub my sons ,how old is she?
okay thank u so much had me freaking out...does it hurt them??? I'm a ftm mom when the doc told me she had it I just started crying feel like its my felt didn't get to ask to much questions @mrsmoore
I believe it's just there split muscle walls and there intestine that are pushing out that cause that so I deff would push on it or for it down
@journeimommy15, your very welcome 😊😊
