Question for mommies with boys that got a circumcision...how long did it take for it to heal and did you have any issues…

It took about a good 2 weeks for my sons to heal. I had an issue with not pulling it back (when it was healed obviously) often and the skin kept reattaching. So when I did pull it back, the skin would tear, but his doctor said to do it in the bath tub so it wouldn't hurt as much. Other than that, make sure you use ALOT of petroleum jelly.

Like a week tops. My son was completely fine. No fussiness nothing. He will be just fine! 😀👍🏻

Like a week to 2 weeks to heal completely. And it didn't bother my son at all. He even let me clean it and everything every day.

2 weeks no issue now he's going to make his future girl happy Lmbo

Good to hear @vondab490 and lmao I was thinking the same thing @phasion although the nurse said they might have issues doing it cause he's 8 weeks old now and his skin isn't as stretchy. So hopefully they have no issues

@katiesolger, shouldn't be issues at all whatsoever my god son got his at 6 months no complications whatsoever

he had no issues and maybe a week or 2...literally the worse part was the dr wrapped gauze around his stuff instead of just placing it on top. took ALOT of vaseline and changing his diaper every 30mins to an hour to get it all off. he did HATE getting his diaper changed for awhile because of it

My son got his done at 6 weeks old it took a week and a half to heal but still went by my obgyns instructions to sponge baths until 2 weeks after his procedure and no problems his almost got infected but I saw the puss early and added some neosprion to it and that cleared up 24 hrs later. Also he screamed every time I changed him for a week. The worst part is the very first diaper change after the procedure I cried cause he was screaming and I thought I did something wrong
