you really don't need anything. The hospital provides everything.

they didn't put nothing on my scar but a bandage and took it off after a day or 2 & I got to shower the next day

I got a C section Tuesday, Wednesday night I got to take a shower I had to soak of the dressing and then they took it off. All you do is pat it dry and then just check it and make sure you aren't bleeding or oozing anything out of it. You don't put anything on your incision it heals itself. I don't have staples or stitches they out some adhesive tape and it will just fall off itself. A week later you'll go for a follow up appointment to see how your healing.. Don't be scared, I totally was scared but once I got in ther and they started I was totally good your baby is out in like 5 minutes. It's worth it in the end :)
