how many days before missed period can u test and get accurate results?

I tested 5 days before with a .89 cent test and got a positive

I took one two weeks after being late and got a negative, from the doctor. My test didn't show up positive until I was 8 weeks pregnant

I tested 7 days before lol I couldn't wait....& I got a very faint positive.

i tested the day i should of started my period and got a faint positive and the tested 2 days later and got a very clear positive.

I tested the day of with an equate test and got a very faint positive. Then I went and got the digital clear blue weeks one and it said I was pregnant

I tested the day of mine and got a positive on both first response and digital.
