i was in the same boat. the morning after we brought our daughter home my bf started a second job. it didn't help being a first time mom. i cried literally night. i had basically zero help. no family to offer help. i highly recommend sleeping when he does. i was in a recliner those 6w because she would not sleep anywhere but my chest at night.

that was our biggest growth spurt. totally normal. i was basically yanking out my hair because of this. shouldn't last much longer. i was a wreck the first 6w pp. which are the worst weeks. once you make that hump it gets easier. hang in there momma. you're doing a wonderful job. just breathe! and remember we're here for your support.

honestly there's not much u can do... My son was the same way. it gets better when they hit 2 months.... right now they only know their mom... they're comfortable with their mom. .. it's a learning experience for the both of u. u guys r both learning as u go. patience is your best ally right now. try using your pinky finger if baby doesn't like binkies to help with the soothing... baby's sooth themselves by suckling..

if you don't feel comfortable doing it then do not cosleep. sometimes I had to let my babies cry it out just bc I was so sleep deprived. they are a lot happier when mommy is rested. do you have anyone that can come stay for a night to help?

@_akgirl, he's one month. I really dont feel comfortable co sleeping and its beginning to compromise me taking care of him. I can barely move around because of my back but I have to plus I'm so exhasted because I never really sleep if hes in my bed because im so scared of hurting him. my pediatrician said I should let him cry it out but I dont know how I feel about that. It goes against everything in me to not pick him up and comfort him
