Does anyone no anything about getting a tattoo while your breast feeding though? Does it effect it?…

They say not to, risk of infection, ect

I also think that the risk of infection is high...I would wait...I wanted to have an earpiece but I desided to wait until I finish breastfeeding

If you go to a good clean artist after your body is healed from birth most artist suggest 8+ weeks after birth. Then you're fine. You want to go to a good clean shop so you don't get an infection and after you're healed from birth because a tattoo is considered an open wound until it's healed artist don't want you to be healing from birth and add to the healing by giving you another thing to heal. I've gotten two while breastfeeding and I talked about it with my artist both times.

I give u this advice ma my man a tattoo artist you can't get the tattoo while breast feeding the reason why the ink effect the milk regardless if u fully heal or not don't risk it ma@kmrie
