that's ridiculous. they can get into serious trouble for firing someone for being pregnant

Well, they are not obligated to pay you while you are on leave, however, in most states they are required to hold your position until you return. Did they actually fire you or did you leave because of their take on leaves?

@mommyof3tobe, they wouldn't flat out tell me that but ever since I told them they have been picking on me .... Even though I do a damn good job at my job .. I have letters from residents it's complete bs

it has to be I would definitely fight that and don't give up u don't deserve that at all

medical and family leaves are federal laws meaning the company is obligated to give you at least 3 months but are not obligated to pay you. if they fired you for that I suggest you call the labor department hotline to inquire about your rights and theirs as employers in your state. that's so unfair it makes me mad.
