Agreed. I feel as if the other biological parent is involved the step parent should know their place. My daughter isn't my fiance's biological child, but he's been there since the day she was born and her real father is not around. Therefore he has no say so, but if he was involved it'd be a much different story. I hate when step parents think they can just jump and play mommy or daddy.

@their.bomb.ass.mom, exactly and that's how it should be...my hubby has been with his son from day one so its like who am I to tell you or make you do something...I may suggest something but never force it and never bash his mom it's just so stupid to me...I am a mother figure but I'll never be his mom

I completely agree. My husband only steps in when he has to but leaves big parenting decisions to their Dad and I. His fiancé on the other hand feels like she should have a say and everything, which gets on my last nerves for several reasons. Thankfully my ex finally stood up to her and she's backed down a little.

@ncorso214, i think what it is is that people get a little ahead of themselves when they get that wife/husband title and feel they have precedence over the child's mother when really as step parents yes we do assist in raising the child but at the end of the day the big decisions are up to the bio parents

@wisky80wife, I agree. Why does Miranda need to be there. It has nothing to do with her. I understand she's the step parent but sometimes let the parents figure out what's best for their children without one feeling ganged up on. I agree with Leah for leaving.

@nurseriri, right!! I was getting so mad and I didn't understand how she said Leah was being disrespectful to her marriage because she didn't want her to be there...oh and don't get me started on Javier b***th ass lol that show gets me so worked up I had to walk away lol
