*I'm just looking for others perspectives*
I want to have my son circumcised, my husband who is uncircumcised does not want our son to get the procedure. I don't know much about the difference because I'm a woman, we don't have a religious preference to do it, just I'm just curious about what others plan on doing for their son!
@shortiebs, I never had the foreskin be a problem for us. Maybe size has something to do with it. Not sure. Yes, my sons were both numbed with a needle. My oldest son even slept through his! 😂
@lala_0412, here is a good study. ссылка every study i found was neutral. But more tmi on the sex topic, for me the foreskin got in the way because it was softer( kinda like the study says) but it depends on the partner. I found an interesting article that said most doctors dont use pain relief so ill be sure to ask about that. But i think matching the fathers experience is a good decision maker since pros and cons are equal
@lala_0412, haha okay whatever you say . it wasn't directly towards you sorry u took it that way hun;) bye
@shortiebs, lmao!! 😂 my boyfriend is uncircumcised and trust me none of that was an issue his whole life! Probably TMI, but best sex I've ever had, every time! 😊
@shortiebs, yes I agree..... I feel the same way about my boys
@CJ smommy, and argument? You came for me. Like I said previously, she asked for opinions and I gave mine and also chatted with a few ladies on theirs. You came on here to tell me something we all know. I'm not going to go back in forth with you. Have a great night.
@lala_0412, i think my biggest factor is his future sex life. (Eww i dont even wanna think of it now lol) he wont remember the procedure so the pain im not too worried. Like you said he can get infection either way. I just want him to have a good sexual experience when he is ready and a good body image and confidence
@lala_0412, first if girl no one was arguing i stating the fact people could sit here and say this and that but at the end of the day no one will listen that's why I just don't state my opinion cause girls like u take it the wrong way and try to start an argument
@jenkobe8348, I'm not judging. Just curious behind your reasoning. Like I said my boys are as well and my boyfriend is not and he's the one that made me think different. Just wondering what you meant.
@cjsmommy, of course. Our conversation is on our preferences. I knew there would be one ignorant person to come say something like that. But you also cannot give misleading facts. That is why I stated I did it before I KNEW. I'm not going to argue because you were simply not in the conversation before but simply came on here to say "what people do with their kids is their choice."... YES, we all already know that.
@lala_0412, yes I no that's the reason. But personally I did look at my bd penis funny when I noticed he wasn't circumcised.... I understand it does not bother a lot of women but it does bother me. So I wouldn't want that for my boys..... I'm not judging anyone else who chooses not to circumcise there kids.
@shortiebs, lol. Yes we have! But infections come either way. Yes. Cleanliness is the main key.
@lala_0412, oh well people will do what they please with their children people can sit here all they want talking about why they did it and why they didn't people have their own opinion. but at the end of the day they aren't going to listen to you cause its their choice and their kids
@lala_0412, oh well people will do what they please with their children people can sit here all they want talking about why they did it and why they didn't people have their own opinion. but at the end of the day they aren't going to listen to you cause its their choice and their kids
@lala_0412, infections yes. But sexual reasons it can go either way. Ive talked to some men who feel embarrassed. Also ive been with some men that even when penis is fully erect they still have to pull skin back . Every man is different, the sexual aspect wont matter until he is a teen or adult. I think most worry about cleanliness. Once he is in preschool he will have to keep his own genitals clean and im pretty sure we have all known or dated some stinky, dirty men lol
@jenkobe8348, do you know that is the reason? My hospital does it free. Most people don't because of preference it's not usually a money issue. Although I would NOT pay $325. That's ridiculous. Looked at funny? What do you mean? Men don't judge other men's penises and women that are educated know the difference between circumcised and uncircumcised.
I'm paying the $325 dollars to get my son circumcised... My bd is not circumcised and personally I no his mom just couldn't afford it and didn't care..... He's the only uncircumcised man I've been with and is wouldn't want my sons to be looked at funny for not having it done... Both my sons will be circumcised
Oh my goodness, so many responses! I want to get it done for the cleanliness part but my husband is not budging.
@shortiebs, once again those problems come from uncleanliness.
@morgans_mommie, yes, it is numbed before the process so I agree. If they want it done they should be able to make that decision. I made mine when I wasn't educated about the process. Just doing it because everyone else was. Sad on my part.
Well, he will need his penis for intercourse and urination. Circumsizing him will not negatively affect either activity but leaving him uncircumsized can cause uti and also issues with future sex partners. These are the reasons im for circumsizing. I dont know any man who is negatively affected by his circumsized penis but i know uncircumsized who have various issues
@ra ter4414, @mariahkillen yea, that is something that has to be taught. Just like little girls should be properly cleaning the vagina. It actually desensitizes the penis when you do it. Men that are not circumcised have better feeling in their penis.
@lala_0412, also done research and it is NOT less painful for an infant than an adult.. Just cause they forget the pain doesn't mean it can't be traumatizing. That's just an argument I don't like. If it's gonna hurt just as badly I would rather him tell me, even if he's only 12, that that's what he WANTS and we will get it done.
@morgans_mommie, I agree completely and feel horrible for doing it to my sons.
Plus most men it hurts to pull back the skin most of the time.
I would say it's more of a cleanliness thing. when they are young they won't keep it clean at end I even know of grown men who wont. I know anyone can get infections but it's not as high in cut men as it is in uncut men
I, personally, think it should be their choice since it's their body. My husband disagrees and we haven't talked much about it. But I don't think it's fair to make that kind of life-changing decision for another human being.
Yeah that's why! Because it had more cleaning to it. Not all men know how to clean it. If you make sure you clean and pull back the skin then it's not really an issue at all
@xoxo512070, he has infections because she's not pulling back his foreskin and cleaning it. My son is circumcised and he got an infection from me not taking care of it so cleanliness is the key.
@lala_0412, I'm not saying it's gonna cause problems. The men in my family are uncut um just saying that's one of the reason people do it
I can vouch for the whole possibility of the skin ripping if you aren't circumcised. I know THREE guys who it's happened to!!! @mariahkillen lol I agree with you 100% it has been proven that it is cleaner and there's less chance of infection and std's when you ARE circumcised. My son is circumcised and I'm very glad I did it. I can't imagine having to pull his skin down and clean it there constantly, I mean he's one- sometimes poop gets on his Peter and that would just be horrible to have to clean in there! And some moms don't clean it right which is why it gets infected. Also you have to teach your son to clean it, and have you met boys??? They forget everything! It's just so much easier having them circumcised and I honestly see it as a benefit.
@lala_0412, I know any unprotected sex is a risk. But it is proven to have a higher chance when uncut. It's the first thing they teach us in school. When there is skin it can trap in more bacteria and hold it there for longer periods of time cause issues.
My fiance is, my first son is and so will my second son when he comes in October, I have a friend who has a son who is not and she has nothing but problems with his, he has constant infections and it's painful
@mariahkillen, it does not. Any unprotected sex is a risk. Circumcision has nothing to do with it.
I'm not saying that it's gonna cause a problem I'm saying it does infact raise the chances of it happening. @lala_0412
Okay I'm a medical student and it is proven to help reduce the chance of std with unprotected sex down the road because they skin can trap bacteria.
@mariahkillen, that's not true. They have proven that to not be true. My doctors for each boy have told me that.
its usually what the dad is . my son is because is daddy is and my sons older brother is. but it is really good to get it done way easier to clean
When a male is uncircumcised they have a wayyyyy higher chance of infection and stds and ripping and discomfort. It's healthier to get them cut.
I did it with both of my sons. I wish I didn't. I only did it with the second because the first had it done but now thinking on it, your born with what your born with. There's no reason to remove it. None. Wish I was smarter about it.
Trigger. Lost baby
Went in for my 20 week check up and found out our son had passed away. Nothing was wrong, my pregnancy has been going great. I'm so numb right now. I'll he delivering him later this week. I don't want to do this. I don't want to do this. Not before Christmas. How am I'm going to tell my kids?? My dear sweet baby boy. Why did this happen?

Took this lastnight...and I'm not sure how I should feel. I've made a terrible mistake by having sex so soon after having a baby but it has made such a precious thing. I really don't want to have an abortion but my Fiancé does. I understand why he wants to go that route but I just would feel absolutely terrible about doing that. I cried all night...I really don't know what to do. PLEASE NO JUDGING IM ONLY POSTING THIS FOR SUPPORT.
Locking your doors
We are having a discussion on one of my birth boards from my older kids about locking doors and security alarms. There are many of us (me included) who do not lock our doors at home (I actually don't even have a deadbolt on my house and we don't lock it when we leave either), and others who think that's totally weird. So what do you do? Do you lock your doors? Do you think it's weird that people don't?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Is It Weird That I Don't Want Other Expecting Moms To Know My Baby's Name??
I Would Be Furious!!!
Just Find Your Own Name For Your Baby, Don't Be A Name Stealer Lmaoooo
I'm Deadass Tho...
I'll be getting my son circumcised. Only really for hygiene related reasons. I know I'll keep him nice and clean. But honestly. Some teenage boys aren't very hygienic. Even when they're taught to be. And that alone can cause health issues! And besides what 13 year old boy wants mommy and daddy reminding them to clean there big parts extra well because they extra skin will house bacteria!
