❓I am curious about people's opinions... So my mother knows I'm being induced Thursday night, She's been saying she's going to come up to the hospital at 2am Friday... Now I understand her excitement but is it wrong of me that I am flat out telling her no, do not come to the hospital till I call you??? Being induced is a process and I want to be able to progress and not feel pressure of a whole bunch of people waiting in a lobby for him to be born. Even my fiancées mother and sister is on board and will not be coming till we tell them it's getting close... I just see no reason for anyone to sit there for hours and hours, plus I want to go with the flow of things and like I said not feel pressured

No your not wrong at all its your baby and yes it is such a long process, she should be able to respect your wishes and it shouldn't be a problem
I completely understand where your coming from i dont want anybody there until i call them and because when i do give birth i want that little alone time but i know my family wont understand because everytime some one has a baby in our family everybody is there !!! My cousin had her baby yesterday and everybody was there with her and their like okay your turn im like noooo lol
I completely agree with you! I'm being induced at 8 am Thursday and I only want my fiancé there until things start picking up.
@kaylareese26, I know she will get it through her head lol she's a bit stubborn, I love my mom to death though and like @leiibaaaby said, I just want that alone time, then after he's born and cleaned up and everything is good then people can visit and see him
