Yes, I used the $1 tests 3 days before my period and got a positive. It took a little longer than the First Response test to show up, but it was still there. I can post a picture of it if you'd like to see what the line looked like.

I've heard of it happening! Plus it's a dollar so if you do get a negative for it being too early at least it was a cheap test.

The First Response showed up almost immediately, but the cheapy brand took around 3 minutes.
