I stopped working for a month due to no hours at work and when I found a new job and went back, everyone was pissy about it. I can't stand sitting at home 24/7.... I have to work lol @coraanne
I worked as a manager at a Deli until I was a little over 38 weeks. I say work until you feel you can't, it's good for you to stay active... but don't over do it. Why are the people getting upset about when you're leaving?
@nathanswifey7, I worked w 2 of my kids through pregnancy. I worked in a factory. First I worked up til the day before they induced. The second worked cleaning rvs. I worked til 33 wks when dr took me off due to personal reasons
I work daily hardest work I do is walk 10 min to work sweep and mop... the only reason I'm going on leave a week before my due date is because my boss is making me lol I'm always tired but I only work 5-10 am @aryasmamabear ar
@nathanswifey7, that's a horrible thing to say. And I would have some words for them. I work with a girl who just came back from maternity leave and she went two weeks past her due date and worked till she went into labor. SERVING. And she has a happy 9 pound baby. I don't know how she did it. But I was impressed.
I quit serving at 23w lol but I have a desk job now and people are mad that I'm still working. I actually had someone tell me that if I wanted a live baby then I should listen and quit working now :(
A lot of people I know who have had babies work either right until they gave birth or literally the day before! It's up to you, if you feel like you can still work I say do it
I work front desk at a hotel and people are raising hell because I'm not going on leave until a week before my due date... that's why I'm wondering how many other mommies are working @kparis
I work, your further along then me, but I plan on working until I give birth, because I get job protection, but it's unpaid leave. Im a manager at a tanning salon.
